AWN is Moving beginning January 2012! The Amarillo club has obtained a client that will be meeting every Friday in the Sunburst Room. Therefore, AWN is moving to the 31st floor main dining area. This is a permanent move. We will be in the same area, at the north end, where we have our Christmas lunchoen. The menu (soup & salad) and price remain the same.
February 24 - Sharks on the Internet: Protect Yourself and Those You Love!- April Leming, Executive Director of The Bridge will be our guest speaker. We've all heard there are predators on the Internet. How prevalent is this problem and how do they operate? How can we best protect ourselves, our children and/or our grandchildren? Aprill will address these issues (1) making the internet safer for kids (2) the profile of an on-line predator (3) Facebook, Twitter and internet lingo.

March 23 - Mentoring Luncheon - "Representing America Abroad - Life in the Foreign Service" - Linda Eichblatt will be our guest speaker. Linda served 17 years in the Foreign Service serving in Mexico, Colombia, Protugal, Lithuania, Spain, and Saudi Arabia. She will be talking about living and working in the global frame of mind. As a special treat, we will have some unique foreign foods to sample. Note: This meeting is one week earlier than normal and is not the last Friday of the month.
